Jessica Franzini

After playing on the professional tennis tour, Jessica transitioned into the corporate world, starting as the Director of Public Relations for tennis and volleyball events at the Great Western Forum in Los Angeles, California. This role gave her invaluable experience in managing high-profile public relations campaigns. Seeking a broader communications role, she moved back to San Diego, where she earned her Master's degree, and took on the position of Director of Communications for a REALTOR® association.

Jessica's life took an exciting turn when an opportunity to move to Singapore came her way. Embracing the adventure, she quickly relocated and landed a job with the international management consultancy, The Hay Group. Starting as a local writer, she climbed the ranks to become the Director of Public Relations for all of Southeast Asia. In this role, Jessica significantly enhanced Hay’s visibility across the region through television, newspapers, and magazines.

Upon her return to the United States, Jessica focused on her writing career as the Head Writer for a national property development firm in San Diego. Aspiring to balance family life with a flexible work schedule, she took a bold step and founded Professional Communications, a one-woman writing company.

As a lead communications strategist, Jessica crafts internal and external communication pieces to promote companies’ missions and enhance brand presence. Her work spans a variety of materials, including speeches, e-zines, newsletters, articles, blogs, brochures, website content, grant proposals, and press releases. Her clients, often referred by word of mouth, consider her their go-to expert, which she views as the highest compliment.

Over the past decade, Jessica has become a publishing field expert, guiding clients through the complexities of publishing their own projects. She has also served as the editor for numerous published titles. Behind the Veil: One Man's Journey from Opioid Addiction to Spirituality and Beyond (2025) is Jessica's first book as a named co-author.

Jessica also had a fun venture when she was tapped to host a local internet show called, “Women Leaders: Secrets to Success.” Jessica conducted over 70 interviews with women around the world, discussing what they felt made them successful and what the believed were the important lessons to learn as a woman working their up in various industries.

Jessica's son is a writer also, living in Washington, D.C. She and her husband, a clinical psychologist and published author, have relocated to Jacksonville Beach, Florida. They now enjoy the coastal life with their rescue pup, Charlie.
